DiAGSure® Chlamydia trachomatis Detection Kit (Multiplex, TaqMan based)

Intended Use:
The DiAGSure® Chlamydia trachomatis Detection Kit (Multiplex, TaqMan based) can detect Chlamydia trachomatis and is a much more sensitive and fast detection method over conventional microscopic and histopathological methods for the detection of Chlamydia infection or for describing the natural history of bacterial infection. The DiAGSure® Chlamydia trachomatis Detection Kit (Multiplex, TaqMan based) is an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) test involving TaqMan chemistry intended for the detection of Chlamydia DNA in vaginal/urethral swab, urine, semen, blood and tear samples. This two-plex PCR detects the ompA gene of C. trachomatis and includes an internal control (IC) reference gene in a single- tube reaction.
