Intent to use:
DiAGSure® Eye Infection Panel (13 Pathogens) is a comprehensive multiplex real-time PCR assay designed to detect a broad range of pathogens responsible for ocular infections. The panel identifies 7 viral pathogens – Herpes Simplex Virus type 1 and 2 (HSV-1, HSV-2), Cytomegalovirus (CMV), Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV), Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV), Human Herpesvirus 6 and 7 (HHV-6, HHV-7), Adenovirus, and Enterovirus; 2 bacterial pathogens – Chlamydia trachomatis and Neisseria gonorrhoeae; and 2 fungal targets – Panfungal elements and Aspergillus species. This panel offers high sensitivity and specificity, enabling early and accurate diagnosis of complex eye infections such as conjunctivitis, keratitis, and uveitis. By facilitating rapid identification of the underlying pathogen, it supports timely and targeted treatment for improved patient care and outcomes.
