Rapid, high-purity genomic DNA extraction from Gram-positive and Gram-negative bacteria
The GSure® Bacterial DNA Isolation Kit provides a rapid, reliable, and inhibitor-free method for isolating high-quality genomic DNA from a wide range of bacterial species — including both Gram-positive and Gram-negative organisms. Using an optimized three-buffer lysis and precipitation chemistry, followed by silica column–based purification, this kit ensures efficient recovery of intact DNA suitable for PCR, qPCR, sequencing, cloning, and a range of downstream molecular applications.
Unlike many competitor kits that require enzyme cocktails (lysozyme, mutanolysin), specialized mechanical disruption, or bead-based workflows, GSure® achieves robust lysis and high yields without additional reagents — delivering a simplified, cost-efficient alternative to leading imported kits.
● Efficient Lysis of Gram-Positive & Gram-Negative Bacteria: Optimized GDB1–GDB3 chemistry ensures complete breakdown of tough bacterial cell walls, including species with thick peptidoglycan layers.
● High Molecular Weight Genomic DNA: Non-vortex elution steps and controlled lysis conditions minimize shearing, ensuring DNA is suitable for long-range PCR and sequencing.
● PCR-Ready Purity: Dual wash steps with ethanol-reconstituted Membrane Wash Buffer guarantee removal of proteins, salts, and inhibitory metabolites.
● Fast, Simple Workflow: Purification completed in 30–35 minutes using only a standard microcentrifuge — no lysozyme, RNase, or mechanical disruption required.
● Stable at Room Temperature: All kit components are stable without cold-chain storage, ensuring easy logistics and shelf longevity.
● Consistent Performance Across Strains: Validated on common research bacteria such as E. coli, Bacillus, Staphylococcus, Pseudomonas, Klebsiella, etc.

GSure® Bacterial DNA Isolation Kit
Catalog No :
G46211, G46211A, G46211B
The GSure® Bacterial DNA Isolation Kit has been engineered with a stringent lysis and selective precipitation strategy that ensures thorough breakdown of bacterial cell walls followed by efficient silica-column binding. The GDB1 buffer begins cell disruption, GDB2 enhances thermal lysis, and GDB3 ensures protein denaturation and DNA precipitation.
The resulting cleared lysate is applied to a GMini spin column, enabling fast binding, washing, and elution. The purified DNA is free of contaminants and ready for high-sensitivity applications such as quantitative PCR, sequencing, and cloning.
This protocol is compatible with both fresh and stored bacterial pellets, and does not require additional enzymes unless extremely high biomass (>1.5×10⁹ cells) is used.
