Aspergillus species, particularly A. fumigatus, are major fungal pathogens responsible for invasive aspergillosis, a life-threatening infection that primarily affects immunocompromised individuals, including those undergoing chemotherapy, organ transplantation, or long-term corticosteroid therapy. Invasive aspergillosis often presents with nonspecific respiratory symptoms and can rapidly progress if not detected early. The DiAGSure® Aspergillus spp. Detection Kit is a highly sensitive and specific real-time PCR assay designed for the rapid and accurate detection of Aspergillus DNA in clinical specimens.
