DiAGSure® Lyme Disease Detection Kit

Intent to use:
The DiAGSure® Lyme Disease Detection Kit is a highly sensitive and specific real-time PCR assay developed for the accurate detection of Borrelia burgdorferi, the spirochete bacterium responsible for Lyme disease. Transmitted through the bite of infected Ixodes ticks, Lyme disease is the most common vector-borne illness in temperate regions and presents with a wide range of symptoms including fever, fatigue, headache, erythema migrans (bull’s-eye rash), and in later stages, arthritis, neurological, and cardiac complications. Early detection is critical to prevent disease progression and long-term effects. The DiAGSure® kit targets conserved regions of Borrelia DNA, enabling direct and precise identification from clinical specimens, even during early stages of infection when serological tests may be inconclusive. It is a valuable tool for timely diagnosis, treatment guidance, and epidemiological surveillance, especially in endemic and tick-exposed populations.
