DiAGSure® MTB Detection Kit

Intent to use:
The DiAGSure® MTB Detection Kit is a real-time PCR-based assay developed for the rapid and accurate detection of Mycobacterium tuberculosis (MTB), the pathogen responsible for tuberculosis (TB), a leading cause of morbidity and mortality worldwide. TB primarily affects the lungs (pulmonary TB) but can also involve lymph nodes, bones, the central nervous system, and other organs (extrapulmonary TB). It spreads through airborne droplets and remains a major global health concern, particularly in densely populated or immunocompromised populations. Clinical manifestations range from persistent cough, fever, and night sweats to weight loss and hemoptysis. Undiagnosed or delayed cases can lead to complications such as respiratory failure, dissemination (miliary TB), or death. The DiAGSure® MTB Detection Kit enables sensitive identification of MTB DNA, including in cases with low bacterial load, helping support timely diagnosis, treatment initiation, and transmission control in TB-endemic settings.
