Intent to use:
The DiAGSure® Fever Panel (8 Pathogens) is a multiplex real-time PCR assay designed for the simultaneous detection and differentiation of eight major febrile illness-causing pathogens: Dengue virus (DENV 1–4), Chikungunya virus, Salmonella Typhi/Paratyphi (Typhoid), Plasmodium spp. (P. falciparum and P. vivax), Leptospira spp., Orientia tsutsugamushi (Scrub Typhus), Japanese Encephalitis Virus (JEV)/West Nile Virus (WNV), and Zika virus. These pathogens commonly co-circulate in endemic regions and present with overlapping symptoms such as fever, headache, myalgia, and neurological involvement, often complicating clinical diagnosis. This comprehensive panel enables rapid, accurate identification from a single sample, facilitating timely and targeted treatment.
