DiAGSure® Varicella Zoster Virus (VZV) TaqMan PCR kit

Intended Use:
The DiAGSure® VZV (Varicella Zoster Virus) TaqMan PCR kit can detect the varicella zoster virus and is a much more sensitive and fast detection method over conventional viral-titer based methods for the detection of viral infection. The DiAGSure® VZV (Varicella Zoster Virus) TaqMan Based TaqMan PCR kit is an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) test involving TaqMan chemistry intended for the detection of viral DNA in serum, plasma, skin lesions, tear, vitreous biopsy and CSF. This Duplex PCR detects the conserved ORF38 gene of the virial genome and includes an RNase-P internal control (IC) reference gene in a single-tube reaction.
