Intended Use:
The DiAGSure® Aspergillosis Detection Kit (Multiplex, TaqMan based) is an in vitro diagnostic (IVD) real-time polymerase chain reaction (qPCR) test involving TaqMan chemistry intended for the detection of fungal DNA in human broncho-alveolar lavage (BAL), oral/nasal swab in VTM, blood, tear, skin/nail swab, cerebrospinal fluid (CNF) and biopsy samples. This two-plex PCR detects the conserved 18S rDNA region of the fungal genome and includes RNase-P as an internal control (IC) reference gene in a single- tube reaction.
